Hold me, my Lord

Strip Me Back To The Bone

Hold me, my Lord,
for I am terrified.
I follow where You lead
and I step as You bid me step.
My trust is all in You,
yet I am terrified.

Hold me, my Lord,
for I am terrified.
My knees are weak,
My legs cannot support my weight,
and I am stumbling behind You,
for I am terrified.

Hold me, my Lord,
for I am terrified.
These are simple things,
Little things, words, nothing but words,
it is only my fear that pulls at me,
but I am terrified.

Hold me, my God,
for I am terrified.
